May 30th, 2014 - Gilbertson Pulls Double Duty at Fiesta City Speedway
1The MGR team went back to work on Friday at the Fiesta City Speedway in Montevideo, MN where Matt would pull double duty in his familiar #23 Modified and also make his first start of the season in the Late Model division.
Matt ran a solid third in his heat race in the Modified and after slipping off the track during the feature and restarting at the tail of the field, he made a great charge forward to place 4th in the final run down on a slick surface after the facility was hit by a late day rain shower. The Late Model was a bit of a different story as Matt ran fourth in his heat race, but pulled off in the feature early due to carburetor troubles, ending his night prematurely.
