Montevideo, Minnesota’s Matt Gilbertson has teamed up with Langdon, North Dakota racer Bryan Kakela to pilot Bryan’s #11 Sower Power Racing Engine powered MB Customs Race Car Modified at the Wild West Shootout at the FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, AZ.

Matt said ‘I am really excited to team up with Bryan to get the 2020 season started in Arizona. He’s got great equipment and it should be a great partnership to start the New Year. I can’t thank Bryan enough for giving us this opportunity to start the year in his stuff. Thanks also to guys at CMD and MB Customs for getting this hot rod ready to travel south in a few weeks. We couldn’t do it without all of the support.’

The 6 race mini-series will be held on January 11th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 18th and 19th and will feature Late Models, Modifieds and BMods each night. 

The entry will field sponsorship from Kakela Farms, Forest Flying Service, D&B Motors, Langdon Implement, Sower Power Racing Engines, CMD Race Shocks and MB Customs Race Cars.

Bryan plans to be in action in his #11 BMod during the week-long event as well.
