| August 29, 2020 - Sixth place finish at Viking Speedway |
 Matt made a trip to the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, Minnesota on Saturday night in preparation for the Fallen Lineman race, which is coming up this Saturday night. He started 7th in his heat race and raced his way forward to finish third, which earned himself the 6th starting spot in the feature. | August 15, 2020 - Gilbertson bags fourth win of the season at Miller Central |
 We spent the weekend at the Miller Central Speedway in Miller, SD for the track's two night season finale weekend. Friday night, we ran 4th in our heat race and then raced from 7th up to a solid third place finish in the feature. Saturday night, we started 5th in our heat and raced forward to win it, putting us 6th in the feature starting lineup. | August 8, 2020 - Runner-up finish at River Cities Speedway |
 Matt made a rare trip to the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND on Friday night with his WISSOTA Modified and was able to come home with a pair of second place finishes for his efforts. He raced from 4th up to finish second in his heat race and then started 3rd in feature and was scored second with the checkered flag flew as well.Results can be found at www.RiverCitiesSpeedway.com. |
| August 2, 2020 - Gilbertson back in Victory Lane at Casino Speedway |
 Matt entered a trio of events over this past weekend across three different states. Friday, Matt made a rare trip to the Chateau Speedway in Lansing, Mn for USRA Modified action. After winning his heat race, he battled for the lead early in the feature until suffering a mechanical failure, ending his night early. |
Saturday, he made the trip to the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, Wi for a regular Wissota Modified program. He finished third in his heat race and was scheduled to start on the pole for the feature, but weather moved into the area, causing a 2.5hr rain delay, so Matt opted to load up and head home instead of waiting out the rain.
