Matt debuted his new MB Customs Race Car over the weekend in a pair of WISSOTA events. Friday night, he made the trip to the I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN and ran third in his heat race before placing ninth in the feature, shaking down the new car.

Sunday night, he crossed the border into South Dakota and entered action at the Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD. He started 7th and charged forward to win his heat race and then started 3rd in the main and was running second when his throttle stuck, causing a spin and ending his night early.

Matt and his Kakela Motorsports Team made a rare appearance at the Cedar Lake Speedway and entered USMTS action over this past weekend.

Thursday night, he finished 6th in his heat race and then came home sixth in his b-main.

Friday, he ran ninth in his heat and fell out of the b-main.

Saturday, he ran 8th in his heat race and came home sixth in the b-main.
