Friday night, he made the trip to the Miller Central Speedway in Miller, SD and after running second in his heat race, he started the main event in 8th place and raced his way forward up to a fourth place finish.

Sunday night, he crossed the border once again to compete at the Casino Speedway in Watertown, South Dakota.

Matt won his heat from the pole and then raced to a solid runner up finish in the main event after starting in the 7th position.
